Internship – Athena Project Arts

Supporting fundraising initiatives through volunteer coordination and engagement. Conducted research on local resources to enhance support for artists in Colorado and the surrounding areas. Managed social media accounts to promote events and raise awareness.

Content Editor – Division of Information Technology, Kent State

Self-led work editing videos, developing and editing captions for accessibility with screenreader and impairment, creation of uploading of slide decks and corresponding video content, managed spreadsheets (excel) for task tracking, and management of uploading content for the Division of Information Technology.

Technical Writer – Division of Information Technology, Kent State

Responsibilities were varied but included: researching technology holistically, researching college programs, researching accessibility in various different applications and forms, interviewing colleagues and faculty, writing articles, editing articles, uploading articles via Drupal and Sharepoint, managing the Division of Information Technology page, and pitching ideas for new stories and series. As well as regular weekly meetings, storyboarding meetings, and one-on-one meetings with supervisor(s).

Camp Counselor – Flying Horse Farms

Management of campers in different age groups for each medical camp including Heart Camp, Hematology & Oncology, Pancreatitis & Gastrointestinal, Rheumatology, Rare Disease, Pulmonary & Craniofacial, and Sibling Camp. Attended extensive training including basic medical training, CPR Certification, crisis training, psychology training, etc. Additionally, responsible for coordinating and managing incoming volunteers during each camp session. Managed various medical emergencies, behavioral issues, multiple tornado(s)/weather emergencies, as well as overseeing early evacuation from camp.
